The Dog Rose is an innovative Swiss charity start-up that embodies a new concept of sustainable animal shelter: In our 2-hectare park, street dogs live freely and in constant contact with humans and fellow dogs, instead of in cramped cages. We offer educational programmes for school children on the street dog problem, carry out free neutering by our team in Romania with a mobile clinic and enable young adults from Europe and the USA to get involved as volunteer dog park rangers as part of meaningful volunteer tourism. The Dog Rose stands for animal welfare, education, meaningful modern volunteer tourism and commitment with heart and soul.
