Emergency provides free, high-quality surgical and medical care for victims of war, poverty and landmines. Since 1994, we have treated around thirteen million people. Today, we run health centres in eight countries, including Afghanistan, Uganda and Sudan. We are constantly training local medical and administrative staff there in order to improve healthcare provision in the long term.
