Innovative and species-appropriate animal husbandry and respectful treatment of all living creatures characterise the image of Tierpark Bern. Visitors are sensitised to the sustainable use of nature and its resources through interactive educational offers. Tierpark Bern offers young people the opportunity to get involved in research, education or species conservation. Donations are collected in the Gabus Fund. The money in this fund is capitalised by the municipal financial administration and is available at 100 % for animals and facilities at Tierpark Bern.
