Helvetas is committed to a just world in which all people live in self-determination, dignity and security, use natural resources sustainably and care for the environment. To this end, it helps people to help themselves in around 30 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe. The impact of its work results from the interplay of project work, advice and political dialogue at local, regional and international level. In Switzerland, Helvetas contributes to the development policy discourse with awareness-raising activities and information work.
