In the canton of Zurich, more than 7,700 people are newly diagnosed with cancer every year. The Zurich Cancer League advises those affected and their relatives on social security, family and work issues, offers help in everyday life and financial support. It provides support in the form of psycho-oncology, an outpatient onco-rehabilitation programme and courses. Its two meeting centres offer space for exchange, reflection and care advice without prior appointment. The Zurich Cancer League also promotes prevention and cancer research in the canton.
