Organisation Non Gouvernementale indépendante et reconnue d'utilité publique, Terre des Hommes Suisse s'engage pour l'enfance et un développement solidaire depuis plus de 60 ans. Its action is carried out in Switzerland and 9 other countries in collaboration with sixteen local partner organisations that take concrete action on the ground. Every year, millions of children and young people benefit from protection actions against exploitation and violence and access to quality education. It enables vulnerable populations, especially children, to defend their rights and build a better future for themselves. The core of its mission is to promote the capacity for action of children and young people so that they can become agents of change in favour of their rights and a more sustainable and solidary world. In Switzerland, this awareness-raising has been taking place for more than 30 years through the Education for Solidarity and Sustainable Development programme.
