The St. Chrischona Theological Seminary (tsc), founded in 1840 as the "Pilgrim Mission", is the oldest independent Protestant theological training centre in Switzerland. It is dedicated to the training and further education of theologians, imparting theological, socio-diaconal, pedagogical and musical knowledge. The tsc is mainly financed by donations and receives no church or state funding.
