ACAT-Switzerland intervenes against cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment in Switzerland and abroad. It stands up for victims and supports the prevention of torture. It informs and sensitises church circles, politicians, civil society and the public. Some ACAT members also support these concerns in prayer.
