Our association aims to put an end to poverty in Switzerland and a thousand other countries by associating the people who suffer from it. These people have a unique understanding of the mechanisms and consequences of poverty, exclusion and injustice. This awareness is at the heart of the actions we are taking. Specifically, we create spaces for encounters, exchanges and cultural sharing, such as children's libraries in the street; we engage in dialogue with institutions, including social schools, so that they take into account the needs and suggestions expressed by people in a situation of poverty; we raise awareness among young people, particularly through workshops, of the realities faced by those who are confronted with poverty and exclusion in Switzerland; we welcome particularly vulnerable families at our national centre during resource, creation and exchange weeks. The donations and legs received by ATD Quart Monde serve to act sustainably against extreme poverty and exclusion. Each donation can be used for a specific action.
