The mission of the Giessbach Foundation is to preserve and restore the historically significant hotel, including the old spa hotel and the nostalgic railway, and to protect and maintain its 22 hectares of magnificent natural parkland with the world-famous Giessbach Falls - a task that it can only fulfil with donations from countless Giessbach friends. Giessbach should be preserved as a living whole for future generations and be open to all nature and beauty lovers as a "happy place of joy".
